Interesting facts - Paraguay

Paraguay is a South American republic. It is bordered by Bolivia, Brazil and Argentina. Paraguay has an area of 157,047 square miles. To the east, the country is hilly and crossed by many rivers. Asuncion, Paraguay's capital and main port, lies on the River Paraguay (Asuncion is a largest city of a country). The vast region to the west of the River Paraguay is flat and covered by thick forest and swamps. The climate of Paraguay is ranges from temperate to subtropical, with semi-arid in the western part, and with substantial rainfall in the east of country.

Manufactured goods include cotton textiles, shoes and soap.
